Are you building a company that could help shape American politics? Whether you are a former field organizer finally solving that campaign challenge that haunted you for years or an experienced entrepreneur looking to make an impact in our political system, come join the community at Higher Ground Labs. As the premier start-up accelerator and venture fund for political technology, founders sit at the core of our mission and community.

In 2022, Higher Ground Labs will invest in a fifth cohort of for-profit start-ups that will be key to modernizing campaign tech, impacting elections, and building long-term progressive infrastructure. This cohort will join a community of 40+ portfolio companies that reached 7,500 campaigns and 70 million voters in 2020 alone.

Startups selected through the Open Call will be invited to the HGL Accelerator program ([link removed]) - one of our highest impact initiatives. In addition to capital, participants get access to an intensive program that will run between April and July. Founders will learn from experts on sales, marketing and product, dive deep into the political market, and meet key clients and investors.


We welcome applications from all entrepreneurs who are committed to progressive values and outcomes that will help save our democracy. Particularly, we’re interested in hearing from founders who are working to solve the problems identified in our 2022 Investment Thesis. ([link removed])
