You have a lot to be proud of this year: With your help, Vote Forward volunteers wrote 1.1 million letters to voters in Virginia—more than three times the 300,000 that volunteers sent in 2019. This was always going to be a tough election for Virginia Democrats, but your hard work helped keep the races as close as they were and contributed to the highest odd-year voter turnout for the commonwealth in recent history.
You also wrote nearly 400,000 letters to voters in Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, and Texas with Vote Forward Labs, helping test new tactics that we can leverage for future campaigns to make them even more impactful.
Writing more than 1.5 million letters to voters in an odd-year election cycle is an incredible accomplishment that wouldn’t be possible without your commitment to strengthening democracy through critical voter contact work.
In even-year elections, the scale of our work is even greater. In 2020, volunteers like you wrote more than 17 million letters to voters across the country during The Big Send, our largest letter writing campaign to date. In the upcoming 2022 midterms, we’re planning to go big again—sending millions more letters to voters across the country asking them to make their voices heard by voting in the midterms. And to make it happen, we need your help. You can support Vote Forward’s work in 2022 by making a recurring contribution of $10, or whatever you can, to help us expand our team, programs, and tools ahead of these important midterm elections.
