With you by our side, we’re working today to build a better tomorrow for all animals by strategically challenging the status quo of animal agribusiness through undercover investigations, legal advocacy, corporate and food system reform, and empowering everyone to choose vegan.

I’d like to share with you today the first of our four year-in-review videos, which focuses on our undercover investigations work in 2021.

Will you continue to stand with us in 2022 as we continue to expose the truth through undercover investigations? ([link removed])

With your support this year we released two hard-hitting investigations:

At Bravo Packing ([link removed]) , which slaughters cows to Produce Performance Dog Diet dog food and horses for exotic animal food, our footage revealed:
* A cow who was shot four times in the head with a captive bolt gun taking 10 minutes to stop moving. During this time her distress, pain and suffering were apparent through her agonized vocalizations and uncontrolled movements.

* A worker preparing a pair of carcasses for use for animal food very close to pools of blood, standing water and mounds of feces, with no apparent concern for the potential for cross contamination.

At a North Carolina chicken hatchery owned by Case Farms ([link removed]) , which processes more than 200,000, our undercover footage showed:
* Injured chicks being left to languish in trays and some chicks being dumped into a macerator fully conscious and ground alive.

* Newly hatched chicks being killed, mangled or trapped in equipment that was improperly operated or set up.

* Employees roughly handling the chicks by throwing them, dragging plastic trays across them and crushing their throats, and running them over with machinery.

We also recently released a video called The Dairy Industry: The Life of a Cow ([link removed]) , which tells the real story of the suffering behind the dairy industry, as documented by our brave investigators. Suffering that only exists so humans can consume dairy products.

This critical work to build a better tomorrow for all animals can only be done with your help. ([link removed]) All donations made before December 31 will be matched up to $125,000 by a generous donor, meaning your support will have twice the impact for farmed animals. Your generous donation will help keep our brave investigators in the field, exposing the suffering of animals who are the victims of animal agribusiness.
