This year has tested the strength of our democracy. The repeated assaults and stresses on our systems have been downright frightening.

And while I could have never fathomed an assault on the U.S. Capitol, or threats made against the lives of election officials, it’s sadly where we find ourselves. Like it or not, we’re in a fight for the future of our democracy.

And make no mistake about it: it’s a fight. The extremists who are trying to seize control of election administration across the country — while discarding democratic norms and standards and sweeping January 6th under the rug — are mobilized, well funded, and succeeding.

Democracy is on the line. We must protect it. Will you help us?
