Over the past few months, Kevin McCarthy's true intentions have become clearer, and the stakes in my race have only become more urgent.
Rep. Paul Gosar tweeted a video depicting violence against Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Rep. Lauren Boebert suggested Rep. Ilhan Omar was part of the "Jihad squad." Then Marjorie Taylor Greene said she wanted to give Kyle Rittenhouse a congressional medal.
A real leader would hold these extremists accountable. Instead, McCarthy let them walk all over him. It begs the question, what would they get away with if McCarthy became Speaker of the House? I don't think we want to know the answer. If it weren't so infuriating, I'd be embarrassed for his lack of spine.
Voters here in the Central Valley know McCarthy has been a complete embarrassment to our community. But many don't yet know I'm the viable Democrat running against him. We're working to change that, but we need your help reaching more voters:
