Arlington Chamber Mourns Loss of Previous President, Rich Doud The Arlington Chamber is mourning the passing of former President Rich Doud who passed away December 9, surrounded by his immediate family in the wonderful care of Virginia Hospital Center. Doud served as President of the Chamber for 23 years before retiring in May 2014. His leadership created the strong structure that we continue to build upon as an organization to this day. Among his many accomplishments are the creation of the Arlington Business Hall of Fame and the Community Action Committee, and the establishment of Leadership Arlington, now known as Leadership Center for Excellence. For more details on Doud's accomplishments during his time at the Chamber, read his retirement press release. “I would not be where I am without the support, mentorship, and opportunities provided to me by Rich Doud during the seven years I worked under his leadership," said Chamber President & CEO Kate Bates. “We continue to feel his impact in our Chamber and in our community, his beloved home. My heart is with his absolutely amazing family.” We know many in our Chamber community will want to know what they can do. The family only asks for thoughts and prayers during this time. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ Arlington Chamber of Commerce | 2009 14th Street, North, Suite 100, Arlington, VA 22201 Unsubscribe [email protected] Update Profile | Constant Contact Data Notice Sent by [email protected] powered by Try email marketing for free today!
