When I was appointed to the Senate, I knew that I had to tackle the systemic issues I witnessed as Lieutenant Governor and to give a voice to Minnesota voters who traditionally didn’t have a seat at the table. And after receiving nearly 3,000,000 votes combined in the last two elections, the people’s mandate is clear: we’re fighting for affordable childcare, clean energy and climate solutions, reproductive rights, and affordable health care, and we won’t let Mitch McConnell or anyone else get in our way.

Here’s the bottom line, folks: It’s my life’s greatest honor to serve as one of Minnesota’s U.S. Senators but I wouldn’t be here without you. It’s your support and this grassroots team that keeps me fighting for justice even on the most grueling of days.
