Sandy Hook was an entry point into this movement for so many of us. It felt like a line in the sand in which surely all of us would agree that action was urgently necessary.

When immediate action wasn’t taken by Congress after this atrocity, many of us felt like action would never be taken. Here’s the truth: when we work together, we DO make an impact. 

Gun violence impacts us all beyond the newspaper headlines. We endure gun violence in our communities, through firearm suicide, and through mass shootings in our schools and public spaces.

Today, you can take meaningful action by committing to volunteer for us. Be a voice for those no longer able to speak.

We are the leaders we hoped would work to end this crisis. It is time for us to act with urgency.
