Real stories about real people impacted by your support (Part 1 of 3)

Your support ensures someone is there to answer the call

Meet Kylie
She is a Coordinated Entry Specialist
Kylie was there the day Olivia walked into our family emergency shelter looking for help. Olivia was living with her husband and three kids and was feeling stuck in an abusive relationship. To add to her worries, they had just received an eviction notice from their landlord.
Kylie and Olivia worked together to connect Olivia to local services to support her with her domestic situation as well as getting her on the waiting list for our family emergency shelter, so she and the kids had a backup plan.
Parents like Olivia contact us almost every day in similar circumstances. Eviction. Domestic violence. Homelessness. Your support ensures someone like Kylie is there to answer the call for the next family or individual seeking refuge from a challenging situation.
