Hi John,

As we approach the end of what has been a challenging year, I wanted to send a quick note to say Meri Kirihimete and Merry Christmas to you all. There’s still a few days left until Christmas, but I hope you’re looking forward to a relaxing break and reconnecting with loved ones this holiday season.

I also wanted to ask a small favour. The upcoming new year is another reminder that the next election campaign is getting closer, and that we need to prepare now, so we can keep making progress for New Zealanders and their families in 2023 and beyond. However, with everything that’s happened this year, Labour hasn’t been able to fundraise like we’d planned. To ensure we’re in a strong position for 2023, we need to start rebuilding our momentum now. If you’re able to, we’d really appreciate you considering donating once more to help us prepare for the next election. John, will you chip in today? <[link removed]>

DONATE NOW <[link removed]>I know that not everyone will be in a position to donate this Christmas, but if you can, even a few dollars can make a huge difference, and will help ensure Labour is ready for the next election. If you would like to ensure we can continue our vital work in 2023 and beyond, please consider chipping in today. <[link removed]>

I’ll be back in touch in the new year to update you on all we’re doing to tackle the tough issues facing our country and build a better future for all New Zealanders. In the meantime, please look after yourselves, stay safe and have a very merry Christmas with your family and friends.

Thanks,

Jacinda Ardern

Labour Party Leader

P.S. Labour’s General Secretary, Rob Salmond, has also asked me to include a quick reminder about monthly contributions. These regular donations help us plan and ensure that challenges like those we’ve faced this year don’t derail Labour’s work. If you’re able to, will you consider setting up a monthly contribution, John? <[link removed]>
