Monday Nature Mystery
We are pleased to announce the winner of our Monday Nature Mystery, Vincent Verweij! Please email us your snail mail address and preference for a hat or tote bag to:

Congratulations to Vincent for correctly identifying the fruit of the Coral Honeysuckle vine (Lonicera sempervirens). This native honeysuckle has brilliant scarlet blooms that are a favorite of hummingbirds. It’s not as aggressive as their non-native cousins, which invade forest understories and choke out important native shrubs, groundcover and ephemerals. The fruits are popular with many thrushes and quail. To learn more about the Coral honeysuckle, click here ([link removed]) .
