She’s run 10 marathons. She’s the first to tell you she might not be the fastest, but her determination is what gets her across the finish line. We know that determination will carry her to victory in this campaign.
She loves goats and raised Nigerian Dwarf goats for a decade. You can’t deny how cute they are.
She has used wind, solar, and geothermal energy at her home in central Wisconsin for more than a decade. Investing in these technologies at a large scale can create jobs, help the planet, and save us all money.
Sadly, her father passed away at age 29 from an untreated childhood strep infection. That was a spark that led her to become a radiologist, and is what drives her advocacy for universal health care in America. Here’s her favorite picture of her mother and father.
