Hi there, folks, I’m reaching out today because our race just got moved closer to being a toss-up. Martin suggested I shoot you a note because this race is even less secure than we originally thought. Look, we never thought this was going to be an easy race. But, with our Republican opponents already running misleading attack ads about me all over Colorado and with the National Republican Senate Committee raising more than $75 million, this year alone, to take back seats like mine, we need to gear up faster than we originally planned. Now, I’m not here to fool you with fake astronomical goals or beg you for a donation because the “sky is falling!” That’s not how I do things. But I will be honest with you: we have a razor-thin, one-seat majority in the Senate right now and if we lose even a single seat, Mitch McConnell will be back in charge obstructing all the progress we’ve made this year.
