Look, here’s what happens when we miss a fundraising goal on an extremely competitive Senate race like Maggie Hassan’s here in New Hampshire:
-
We make budget cuts, preventing us from running the most strategic campaign we can.
-
Republicans see it as a sign of vulnerability and ramp up their attacks.
-
We miss the chance to talk to important swing voters who will decide this election.
I’m telling you this because we fell $5,000 short of our fundraising goal over the weekend.
I’m not panicking just yet – we ran the data, and if we can close the gap in the next 90 minutes or so, we should be able to fund the campaign we need to win. You’re a top Democrat, and Maggie can’t win without your support. Will you please rush $5 or as much as you can to win in New Hampshire? I don’t need to remind you that if Maggie loses, we lose Democrats’ fragile Senate majority too.

The quick and dirty is this: New Hampshire was the closest Senate race in 2016, more has been spent attacking Maggie than any other Democratic incumbent this cycle, and pundits say that the Granite State is one of the most likely to flip from blue to red.
We can ONLY protect New Hampshire’s vulnerable Senate seat if we get this campaign into gear. I’ll say it again: we cannot – and will not – win if we keep falling short.
Reelecting Maggie Hassan in New Hampshire and protecting the Senate majority will be a team effort, and we need your help. Please donate $5 or as much as you can (preferably in the next 90 min.) so that we can get things back on track.
Thanks,
Aaron (Maggie Hassan’s campaign manager)
