friend,

There are only two days left until our second annual End-of-the-Year Convening, on Wednesday, December 15th at 7pm EST. You are not going to want to miss this amazing (free!) event.

In addition to reviewing all the highlights and accomplishments from this past year, we are hosting a panel discussion on the privatization of education and the overarching impact it has on our democracy.

We’ve invited Professor Noliwe Rooks, author of the award winning book, Cutting School: Privatization, Segregation, and the End of Public Education, Donald Cohen, founder and executive director of In The Public Interest and co-author of The Privatization of Everything, and Charles Siler, a former Koch network lobbyist and current pro-public education consultant to join us in conversation as we envision what education can truly look like when focusing on the common good instead of corporate influence and control.

Join us in saying goodbye to 2021, and coming together collectively to continue this important work in the new year. If you're unable to attend, please consider supporting the work we do at UnKoch My Campus with an end of year donation - every dollar helps!

In Solidarity,

Jasmine Banks, Executive Director

UnKoch My Campus is a project dedicated to disrupting corporate influence on campuses nationwide by equipping campus activists with education, skills, and ecosystems of solidarity. The Koch network is leveraging its donations to colleges and universities to bolster its corporate agenda to halt action on climate change, put hundreds of thousands of people in prison, deny millions of people healthcare, and strip rights and wages from workers globally. We're building a mass movement of young people who are dedicated to disrupting this harm.
