John,
All of the progress we've made so far -- a fully funded public education system, an economy on the mend, expanding broadband, and a plan to axe the food tax -- could be under attack if we lose in 2022. That's why it's so important that we hit our $9,000 December mid-month fundraising goal before Wednesday's deadline.
The money we raise now means we can talk to more voters, earlier, and more often. And when we fall short, we have to make cuts -- and that's not what we want to be thinking about as we head into 2022.
Will you pitch in $5, or whatever you can now? Every dollar gets us one step closer to building a winning campaign >> [link removed]
We're running out of time to hit our goal, and missing it could spell trouble for our campaign. Especially when Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight, Inside Elections, The Kansas City Star, and Cook Political Report are all calling me one of the most vulnerable incumbent Democratic governors up for re-election.
With our first filing deadline looming at the end of the year, the stakes have been raised for our campaign. Falling behind now is not an option -- there's too much at stake in 2022. National Republicans have made it clear flipping Kansas' governor's race is their top priority and we will need to be prepared for the attacks.
I need to know I can count on your support to help us hit this goal. Pitch in $5, or whatever you can, right now to help us hit our crucial $9,000 December mid-month fundraising goal >> [link removed]
Thank you,
Laura
