Sorry, I know it’s early.

If you’re anything like me you are starting Sunday morning slow with a coffee in hand and very soon you’ll be up and running for a busy day ahead. I hate to disrupt your morning routine but today is the last day I have to meet my quarterly goal so that I remain on track to have the resources necessary to defend this House seat in 2020.

These emails are an important part of my plan for meeting my quarterly goals. And I bet many of you hate them filling up your inbox just as much as I do! That’s right, I get them from other people too. Here’s why they are important: They work.

Grassroots campaigns like mine that don’t accept corporate PAC money need to leverage the support of small dollar donations from everyday people. And the truth is that when a lot of people chip in just a little, we are collectively just as powerful as the corporate special interests that spent millions against me in 2018, and are going to do it again in 2020.

If each one of you that has received this email were to sign up to give me a recurring $5 a month contribution from today until the election in 2020 it would generate millions. I know it doesn’t seem like just a few dollars from you could make a difference, but we have tens of thousands of supporters like you, and if we do this together we’ll be ready.
