The most important deadline of the year is coming up in just a few short weeks: We’re facing our final quarterly fundraising deadline of 2021 at the end of December. And shortly after, Jared’s fundraising numbers from the last three months will become public.

With the media, our opponents, and voters scrutinizing these numbers to assess the strength of our campaign, we need to have a strong showing.

The Federal Election Commission (FEC) reports are public documents that all campaigns must file at the end of every fundraising quarter. The stronger our numbers are, the more deterred everyone -- from Kevin McCarthy and GOP super PACs to our five opponents -- will be from launching attacks against us.

On top of that, this upcoming deadline is our most important one yet: This is the first time our numbers will be made public since Kevin McCarthy added our opponent to his “Young Guns” list, sending a signal to GOP donors that this district is a top flip opportunity in 2022.
