Dear John,
This incredible $200,000 Holiday Match Challenge is truly a gift — and it couldn't come at a more crucial time.
The more than 6 million people in America living with Alzheimer's, along with their over 11 million caregivers, are counting on you and me to provide compassionate, high-quality care and support — while also giving them hope this holiday season. Research is moving forward and will one day make our vision of a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia a reality.
Please don't miss this chance to double your impact in the fight against Alzheimer's. A generous donor who wishes to remain anonymous has pledged to match all gifts up to $200,000 — if we raise the same amount by December 31. This donor's gift will support the Tau Pipeline Enabling Program (T-PEP), a funding initiative to accelerate drug development breakthroughs that could help mitigate the toxic effects of tau protein "tangles" in the brain. Because tau tangles are implicated in a number of neurodegenerative disorders, the research made possible by T-PEP could potentially benefit individuals living with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's disease, frontotemporal dementia and more.
And with your holiday gift today, you can double your impact in the fight against Alzheimer's and help further our efforts to provide much-needed care and support and accelerate global research.
Please make your first gift to the Alzheimer's Association today.
We call the holidays the season of hope, and your commitment to helping provide care and support services, along with advancing research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure, is so critical at this time. The more than 750 active best-of-field projects in 39 countries provide all of us with the hope that we can — one day — end Alzheimer's.
John, please don't miss the chance to double your impact on our work to provide care and support and accelerate critical research. Will you make your first gift now?
Of course, the holidays are not just a time of hope but also of gratitude. And believe me when I say that everyone here at the Alzheimer's Association is grateful for you and your support of our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
Thank you in advance for helping us reach this critical goal and close out the year by making a big impact in the fight against Alzheimer's.
Your gift can go twice as far in the fight to end Alzheimer's. |

Sincerely,
Donna McCullough
Chief Mission and Field Operations Officer
