Republicans won’t tell you this, but they are quietly building a team of prominent advocates for privatizing Social Security. It’s the worst kept secret in Washington: Republicans are out to privatize Social Security.

Keeping Social Security safe is my top priority, but I need to know that this is still an issue the American people will mobilize around. Please let me know:

Republicans are working harder than ever behind the scenes to dismantle Social Security. They know it has been a losing policy historically, that’s why they’re working so hard to keep it hidden.

But John, I know what they’re up to, and I won’t let them get away with it. I’m sounding the alarm on this Republican attempt to destroy our public Social Security system.
