Hi folks,

I’m Justin, Michael’s campaign manager. Here’s an update on our path to victory:

Grassroots supporters like you are a major part of this team so I hope you’ll read through, then pitch in $10 before Thursday’s mid-month deadline to re-elect Michael to the Senate and keep Colorado blue. [[link removed]]

WHAT MICHAEL HAS ACHIEVED FOR COLORADO

Despite our slim 50-50 Democratic majority and Mitch McConnell’s obstruction, Michael has secured big wins for Colorado. He led the charge to expand the Child Tax Credit that has not only kept millions of children out of poverty nationwide, but also cut taxes for hundreds of thousands of Colorado families. Now, Michael is fighting to extend the expanded Child Tax Credit for another year in the Build Back Better Act.

Michael also clinched a historic investment in high-speed internet — the single largest federal broadband investment in our nation’s history — in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act signed into law just last month. This investment will help bridge the digital divide in Colorado’s rural and Tribal communities.

While Michael is fighting to create good-paying jobs, combat climate change, and more, GOP opponents are distorting his record.

THE STATE OF THIS RACE

Michael delivers for working people and he’s running on his record, but he is facing attacks from all sides. Mitch McConnell and his committee tasked with flipping the Senate have almost double the cash on hand of the Democratic committee that’s defending seats like Michael’s. The National GOP has their pick of his opponents that overwhelmingly opposed the bipartisan infrastructure bill and include:

The GOP primary field is stacked with eight candidates attacking Michael to gain an edge in their race. Your support will help him fend off continued attacks.

WHAT IT TAKES TO WIN

Michael is running a grassroots-driven campaign. He doesn’t take donations from corporate PACs and federal lobbyists because he believes fighting money in politics means leading by example.

To win this race and keep Colorado blue, Michael’s campaign has to reach and mobilize voters across the state while battling attacks from Michael’s opponents, Mitch McConnell, and dark money groups. It’s expensive work and with the National GOP raking in millions and a wealthy, self-funded opponent flooding Colorado's airwaves with ads attacking Michael, we can’t rest for a moment.

Michael is counting on your support so he can continue fighting for Coloradans in the Senate. Please pitch in $10 — or whatever works for your budget — before Thursday’s fundraising deadline.
