Hi friend,

This year has been one for the books. Through the good, the bad, and the ugly, Conservation Voters of PA members like you have shown unwavering dedication to our causes — to elect climate champions at all levels of government, to advocate for bold environmental policies, and to hold our elected officials accountable for their decisions that affect the health and safety of communities across the state.

Yet as we head into 2022, our fights are far from over. Far-right legislators continue to block environmental progress and voting rights. The planet is warming even faster than we feared, shortening the clock on our work to confront the climate crisis. And a critical election year is upon us where we must elect a pro-conservation governor or face devastating rollbacks to environmental protection.

We’re prepared to go all out next year, but we can’t do it alone. You can make a profound and lasting difference in all of these fights by becoming a member with a year-end gift TODAY [[link removed]]

This July marked not only my 10th anniversary at Conservation Voters of PA, but also when I stepped into my new role as Interim Executive Director. Taking the reins from our founder has been both challenging and gratifying, and our organization met this pivotal moment with new and innovative programming:

• We launched a massive new program advocating for the Build Back Better Act — the most significant federal action to combat climate change, ever — empowering and enabling our members to contact their representatives in Congress over 3,000 times;

• We ran a brand new kind of canvass in Chester County and knocked on over 10,000 doors this fall to learn more about what “split ticket” voters care about and how we can do a better job of getting them to consistently vote for environmental champions up and down the ballot;

• And we piloted a new program to identify tens of thousands of new pro-environment residents in the Poconos who could potentially galvanize bold local and state policy change.

We need to make these kinds of investments year after year to keep winning in Pennsylvania and put every level of government in the hands of pro-environment leaders.

But none of this is possible without you, friend . Can you chip in with a year-end gift TODAY to help us build on this incredible momentum in 2022? [[link removed]]

Since our founding, we have relentlessly pursued pro-environment change across the Commonwealth — by lobbying the state legislature and Governor, empowering Pennsylvanians to stand up for their constitutional rights to a healthy environment and democracy, and holding our leaders accountable to YOU when they put polluters and their bottom lines before people.

Yet as our nation becomes more and more polarized, building out the programs and coalitions we need to win on climate and reach the voters who will make the difference has become increasingly difficult and expensive.

become a member before the end of the year so we can meet the challenges that 2022 will bring together [[link removed]]

With heartfelt appreciation,

Molly Parzen
