I started this race 11 months ago with nothing but a vision for a better San Fernando Valley.

With thousands of our neighbors unhoused on the streets, health care costs skyrocketing while major insurance giants reap in millions, and climate catastrophe on our doorsteps, I knew our district deserved much better representation in Congress.

Fast forward to today: I have a strong campaign team behind me with thousands of grassroots supporters like you. We are humbled by the endorsements from local and national progressive organizations and the incredible team of over 200 volunteers who are doing everything from phone banking to door-to-door canvassing to sending handwritten postcards to district voters.

But right now, I need your help John.

This fight has always been powered by the people. That's why I'm reaching out with an important favor to ask - we need to collect 2,000 signatures in the month of January to qualify for the ballot, and we need all the resources to do it.
