Important committee of MPs from all parties calls out the Elections Bill 



Today, the Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Committee (chaired by Conservative MP William Wragg) has published a report which urges the Government to stop the passage of the Elections Bill. Do you think the Government should stop the bill?

The report expresses concerns about the speed at which legislation in the bill has been rushed through and finds fault with clauses in the bill which mandate voter ID and which undermine the independence of the Electoral Commission. 



Even the Conservatives are concerned about their own Government’s handiwork.



At Best for Britain, we have been campaigning against the Elections Bill for some time and are pleased to see our concerns reflected in this latest report. The cross-party support for pausing the bill is heartening to see.



But we wanted to also understand your strength of feeling on the matter. Do you think the passage of the bill should be urgently stopped?
