I value your time, so I’ll make this quick. Republicans across the country are pulling out all the stops to reclaim what they lost in 2020 – introducing a record 400 voter suppression bills to silence the people and spending millions to spread misinformation and threaten our Majority.

We’re facing tough battles in 2022, and the truth is: If we want to expand our Majority and ensure our progressive values are protected from Republican attacks, we need your help to flip governor’s offices. We have a huge opportunity to do that in Maryland – if we can elect Tom Perez.

Tom is a tireless fighter for the people, and I’m proud to endorse him. Now, I’m asking you to join me: Will you chip in $7, or whatever you can, to power Tom’s campaign and help send him to Annapolis to fight for our progressive values? [[link removed]]

I worked closely with Tom when he led President Obama’s Labor Department, the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division and the Democratic National Committee, so trust me when I say that he will be the leader Maryland needs to push for progressive change and deliver. Tom is a compassionate leader, a great listener, and someone who isn’t afraid to do the hard work governing requires.

I know that if Marylanders elect Tom, he’ll uphold our shared values – ensuring health care is affordable, workers have a voice, justice is equal under the law, and education is accessible for Maryland’s kids regardless of ZIP code.

Unfortunately, sending Tom to Annapolis won’t be easy. His race is a “TOSS-UP”, and Marylanders have elected Republicans to the governor’s office in three out of the last five elections.

So, I’m asking: Please chip in what you can to support Tom’s campaign and flip Maryland from red to blue. Grassroots supporters like you won us the House, the Senate, and the White House – and you’re what will make the difference in this race.
