I've got an extra few minutes in my schedule today, friend, so I thought: Why not reach out personally and share why being your congresswoman in PA-06 is so important to me?
I didn't run for office because I thought it would be easy – I ran because I wanted to make life better for our community, for our Commonwealth, and for you, friend. I'm a third-generation military veteran, and I wanted to continue my family's tradition of putting country before self. I wanted to give back to the country that has given me and my family so much.
Giving back – that was my focus when I joined the Air Force and served as an engineer on ballistic missile defense programs. It was my focus when I taught chemistry in a Pennsylvania high school. And it was my focus when I helped pass the American Rescue Plan and the historic bipartisan Infrastructure bill – which secured $18 million in investments for our district.
But despite the great strides we've made so far, all of our progress is hanging in the balance right now – since our razor-thin House majority is on the line. Republicans only need to flip five House seats in order to take back control – which means that defending our House majority is going to come down to elections in battleground districts like this one.
And we'll need all hands on deck since we'll be up against the GOP’s dark-money machine. I'll need strong supporters every step of the way – supporters like you, friend – helping us build the resources we need to spread our positive message so we can continue making progress for working families.
All right, I’ve got to run to a meeting. But if keeping PA-06 and the House blue matters as much to you as it does to me, would you please pitch in $5 – or whatever you can spare – to help support our grassroots movement?

Thank you, friend. There is work to be done,

P.S. Here's a picture of me and my family enjoying the holiday season. I had my first child, my Molly, when I was active duty in the Air Force. Serving my country and caring for my daughter at the same time was hard, but decades later it’s a challenge millions of parents still face. I know the struggles of working families firsthand – because I've been there, friend. Please, if you'd like to fight for progress for working families in our Commonwealth, join this grassroots movement by donating $5 right now.
