Hi John, we have a critical update for you: We’re almost halfway through the month, yet we’re not 50% towards what we budgeted to raise online in December.
Our most important deadline of the campaign to date is coming up at the end of the month -- we’ll explain more about that in a moment -- so today, we’re asking you to dig deep and help us raise the $5,500 we need to close the gap »

Here’s what happens at the end of the fundraising quarter:
1. At midnight on December 31st, we close the books on our quarterly fundraising.
2. Soon after, we publicly report our fundraising numbers for the last three months to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).
3. Everyone from our opponent to political pundits will be looking through our report to assess the viability of our campaign.
This is the first major test of the strength of our campaign. A strong FEC report at the end of the month will show that we have what it takes to replace Brian Fitzpatrick in PA-01.
We need to put forward the strongest report possible, but we can only do that with your help. Will you chip in whatever you can right away to help us reach our December fundraising goal? We need to raise $5,500 by Wednesday night to get back on track.
