John, The DCCC is playing games — AGAIN. On Oct. 17, the DCCC chair sent out a memo that included message guidance for incumbents on how to talk about impeachment. This came one the heels of new research, conducted by DCCC pollsters, about Democratic election chances in the face of impeachment proceedings. After reading the memo, I was shocked. This is not leadership. Where was the DCCC earlier when the Mueller Report found Trump guilty of obstruction of justice? Or when he openly and deliberately referred to Mexican immigrants as rapists and criminals? Or when he violated the law by putting children in cages? The DCCC is giving incumbents “message guidance” so they can carefully parse their words about impeachment in a “safe” manner so as not to offend anyone. We need representatives who will stand up for justice, especially against a lawless president like this one. Let’s show them that putting politics over values is not okay by winning this election. - Team Eva
