Hey,

Today marks one year until the 2020 presidential election. While next year’s election gives us a chance to kick this racist president and his corrupt administration out of Washington for good, we all know there’s even more at stake.

Democrats winning the presidency, the House, and the Senate in 2020 means that we can undo all of the damage Donald Trump and Congressional Republicans have done to our country. It also gives us a chance to do things that will impact people's everyday lives, from passing Medicare for All, to codifying a woman's right to choose, and so much more.

But to get there, we need to make sure Democrats here in New York and across the country get out and vote on November 3, 2020.

That’s why I’m asking you to join me in taking a pledge to vote in 2020.

With so much at stake in 2020, we know Republicans are going to do everything they can to throw this election in their favor. Why do you think Donald Trump supports efforts by Republicans across the country to purge their voter rolls of people of color? Why do you think he has asked foreign countries to interfere in our sacred election process on his behalf?

That’s why we need to do everything we can to make sure that our supporters get to the polls on Election Day 2020 — one year from today.
