NewDems are sounding the alarm on the GOP’s refusal to pass Build Back Better:
Last month, we passed the Build Back Better Act through the House, which extended the expanded Child Tax Credit for millions of working families. But now, Senate Republicans are stonewalling the bill, with payments set to expire at the end of the year. If the Senate allows the Child Tax Credit to expire, nearly 10 million children are at risk of slipping back below the poverty line during the holiday season. We refuse to let this happen.
