Dear John,

I’m sending a big ‘thank you’ to the 500+ of you who attended the 17th annual Evening for the Environment and made this event a huge success and a lot of fun! You represented nearly 100 organizations and businesses working across the state on conservation and helped raise more than $85,000 for MCA/MCV’s work to tackle climate change and protect the Maine you love.

For those of you who were unable to join us for this year’s Evening for the Environment, and for those of you who would like an encore, you can now hear Governor Janet Mills’ and author Richard Louv’s speeches from the event on Maine Public’s Speaking in Maine page. In addition, the event will be broadcast on Maine Public tomorrow, November 4th, at 2:00PM as part of their Speaking in Maine series.

Check out photos from the event on our Facebook album, courtesy of Nate Eldridge. We aim to keep our Facebook page active with posts, so make sure to Like our page to stay up to date. If you see a photo of someone you know, be sure to tag them!

Again, thank you for your wonderful support of this event and our work. Together, we are protecting Maine's air, land, water, and way of life for future generations.

With gratitude,

Maureen
