We're approaching the end of Cori's first year in Congress,

Before Congress adjourns we want to take a moment to celebrate the
progress this team has made. Thanks to the support of this grassroots
team, Cori accomplished more in her first year in Congress than some
members do in multiple terms.

FIRST: When white supremacist insurrectionists stormed the Capitol during
Cori's first days in Congress, Cori led the charge to impeach Donald Trump
and expel Members of Congress who helped incite the deadly attack.

THEN: Cori got to work co-sponsoring legislation like Medicare for All and
voting for bold legislation to meet the crises that regular, everyday
folks are facing. Since January, Cori has introduced groundbreaking new
legislation including the Green New Deal for Cities, People's Response
Act, and Keeping Renters Safe Act.

LATER: Cori brought her experience as an activist to the steps of the
Capitol — staying there for five days straight calling on the Biden
Administration to extend the eviction moratorium for the duration of the
COVID-19 pandemic.

NOW: Cori's officially running for re-election, and we're counting on this
people-powered movement to help lead Cori to another term in Congress.

Cori only won her last race by 3 points, so we're not taking anything for
granted. The far-right has already named us a top target of their attacks
— and any future opponents will have GOP super PACs ready to spend
millions to attack Cori.
