Dear John,

New reporting about Christian nationalists mobilizing ahead of next year’s midterm elections uncovered disturbing video footage.

In the video, David Lane who was one of the first political operatives to begin mobilizing the Christian right in support of Donald Trump in 2016, spoke about a war unfolding in America between Christianity and secularism:

“This is a war between the false god of secularism and God Jehovah, and somebody’s values are going to reign supreme.”

Lane believes that in order “to save America, every church in America has to have a pastor, an elder, a deacon, or a congregant running for local office in 2022, 2024, 2026, and thereafter.”

We believe in response, it’s important to elevate humanist and atheist voices, so please tell us:

Do you believe that Christian Nationalist values should reign supreme in our government?

[NO] [link removed]

Thank you for your input.
