Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) recently announced he's running for reelection and was endorsed by Donald Trump at a rally here in Iowa. I fully intend to defeat him and flip Iowa blue, John – but I need you with me. Here's the latest:

First, the momentum is on our side. Nearly two-thirds of Iowa voters don't want to reelect Sen. Grassley, which means we have a unique opportunity and advantage that we must harness to flip this Senate seat blue.

But defeating Sen. Grassley – in what the Des Moines Register is calling a "marquee match up" – will come down to resources, and the campaign arm of the Senate Republicans has already hauled in $76 million this year. They are well equipped to protect vulnerable incumbents like Sen. Grassley and attack competitive challengers like me.

So right now, ahead of our mid-month fundraising deadline, my team and I need to raise $50,000. This is a grassroots campaign, and hitting these goals and building up resources is how we will flip Iowa blue.
