At least 10 January 6th insurrectionists will be sworn into public office next month.

This is part of a troubling trend of far-right extremists pushing conspiracy theories in order to sway voters that we’ve seen unfold nationwide.

John, our democracy works because we’re able to place trust in our elected representatives. What happens when they betray that trust in service to their own partisan gains? As we’ve seen, it can have deadly consequences.

This race isn’t just about red or blue -- it’s about being able to uphold the trust that underpins our entire democracy.

I fight in Congress day-in and day-out to deliver results for the people of Northeastern Pennsylvania. I continue to believe we can strengthen our entire community by listening to each other and working together.

But collaboration requires a commitment to the truth, and my opponents’ bad-faith approach to politics will do little to help those who are struggling.
