My friend,
It’s been a whirlwind year.
Since before President Biden was sworn in earlier this year, the Far Right has sought to undermine his presidency at every turn. Yet despite these attempts, we’ve made some progress on key issues that we’ve fought long and hard for, but we still have progress to be made.
And as we prepare to enter the midterm election cycle in just a few weeks, the stakes for the election next year continue to climb.
While you and I know we fought hard to defeat Trump in 2020, the nefarious far-right forces that fought to elect him have been unyielding – working harder than ever to stage a comeback in the midterm elections. Emboldened by a victory in Virginia, the Far Right plans to capture that momentum and propel them to victory in 2022.
But if you or I have anything to say about it, they won’t win.
In the year ahead we expect to face challenges on many of the issues we care so deeply about. Your continued support and advocacy will no doubt be an invaluable resource as we continue pushing back against the far-right ideology that is sweeping the nation.
