John,
There is no one who understands the
diverse neighborhoods of District 5 better than our Supervisor Vallie
Brown. She’s been on the ground, building stronger neighborhoods for
working families, artists, renters, immigrants, seniors—for anyone and
everyone she can—for 25 years.
Vallie has had our back for decades, and
now, over the final two days of this race, we need to have Vallie’s
back, so we can win this election and keep making progress for San
Franciscans.
I'm
writing to ask you to please sign up for a volunteer shift for
Election Day to make sure we win.
After you’ve signed up, please watch my
video message about why this race is so important.
I’ve
known Vallie Brown for years.
I’ve known her as a remarkably effective neighborhood activist, as a
City Hall aide, as my Chief of Staff, as your and my Supervisor for
District 5, and as a good friend. When it comes down to it,
though, Vallie is really just
someone who cares about people, who wants to help make our community
better for others. That's really what drives her.
We
need Vallie back at City Hall
fighting for all of us for the next four years. But this is going to
be an incredibly close race. Trust me, I know a thing or two about
close races and the importance of working for every vote.
So
please sign up for a volunteer shift for Election Day. Help us call
voters, motivate our supporters, spread Vallie’s message, and
win.
Thanks so much for
supporting Vallie and for
working so hard for this city that we all love. It means a lot
to Vallie, and to me.
Mayor London Breed
