This week the Supreme Court again decided not to halt Texas’s unconstitutional abortion law. This is concerning news, folks — especially as we wait for the Court’s decision on a Mississippi case that could directly overrule Roe v. Wade. Reproductive rights are under attack. The Senate needs to pass the Women’s Health Protection Act immediately to protect reproductive rights in every single state. We haven’t seen your signature on Martin’s petition yet, so we’re asking you to add your name today:
Thank you. — Team Heinrich ---------- Forwarded message --------- Folks, just days ago, the Supreme Court heard arguments in a case that could directly overturn Roe v. Wade and dismantle women’s health care rights. This is the same Supreme Court that is now stacked with conservative judges that Donald Trump nominated. It can seem unthinkable, but it’s real and it’s imminent. Roe v. Wade is more at risk of being overturned right now than it has been since it was decided nearly 50 years ago. This is bad for women and everyone who believes in equitable access to health care and a woman’s constitutional right to choose. We need to act quickly at the federal level. We need to make sure that the reproductive rights of every woman, no matter what state she lives in, are protected.
Thank you for your support on this. — Martin |
