With the success of our campaign to decriminalize marijuana in Austin, we’re launching similar efforts across Texas.

Ground Game Texas

Friend,

In case you missed it, Austin voters will soon have the chance to decriminalize the possession of marijuana. That’s because, thanks to you, we successfully added a measure to the ballot to give voters the power to change our city’s drug laws.

And we’re not stopping there. Ground Game Texas is working to end the war on drugs in Texas. We’re putting marijuana measures on the ballot in communities across the state – mobilizing voters to take democracy into their own hands.

But we can’t do it without your support. Can you pitch in $25 or $50 to help us end the war on drugs in Texas and bring new voters into the fold?

In state after state, marijuana laws are changing. Communities are taking steps to legalize it, instead of putting people in jail for it. But in Texas, Republican lawmakers refuse to budge. They profit by policing and incarcerating Texans for low-level drug use.

Ground Game Texas is working to change that. If our lawmakers won’t step-up to legalize marijuana—which is supported by 87% of Texans—then we will help voters make change themselves. We’re launching campaigns in communities across Texas to change local drug laws – can you help support our work?

If you’re ready to change our state’s drug laws, pitch in $25 to support our get out the vote efforts.
