Friend,

In a moment I am going to ask you for a donation to my campaign. First, let me tell you why.

I believe in fighting for every immigrant family, working-class family, and community of color like mine that has faced exclusion, inequity, and racism. I want to fight for everyone in our community who has been failed by decades of Albany ineffectiveness that has left us with high property taxes, under-resourced schools, and underfunded senior centers.

January 11th, just one month from today, is our first filing deadline. On that date, we will report how much money we’ve raised. This figure will be used to assess the viability and strength of this movement. Unfortunately, these next three weeks are the hardest for grassroots fundraising, as this time of year people check their emails less frequently and have other financial commitments.

I am coming to you one month before our deadline to ask for your help: we still need to raise $5,000 online before January 11th or we will miss our goal.

Can you chip in $15, $25, or $50 so I can continue fighting for a more inclusive New York? Unlike most in politics, I’m not taking money from corporate PACs, real estate developers, or special interests.

Donate $15
Donate $25
Donate $50

This movement is from, by, and for the PEOPLE of Queens and New York State but I need your help!

Let’s do this!
