Radical Republicans are trying to take money from Michigan's public schools to fund a Betsy DeVos-style voucher scheme.

Before becoming Donald Trump's Secretary of Education, Betsy Devos repeatedly tried to change our state constitution to funnel tax dollars away from public education and put it into wealthy private schools.

Today, her radical Republican backers are keeping her crusade going. First, they passed legislation that paved the way for vouchers in Michigan. After the bill was vetoed, wealthy GOP donors launched a ballot initiative in a disgraceful effort to try and get around Governor Whitmer's veto.
