"In your unfailing love you will lead the people you have redeemed. In your strength you will guide them to your holy dwelling."

- Exodus 15:13
Africa & Europe
Perpetrators in Ghana are starting to move victims to more remote uninhabited islands, and the team needs to develop new strategies to effectively bring victims to safety and ensure that traffickers are found and prosecuted. Pray for wisdom, understanding and miraculous intervention as we step into doing new, hard things.
Latin America
Pray for IJM Guatemala's continued efforts to partner with the government and local community leaders in the midst of a complicated political environment. The country is hearing allegations of political incompetence and corruption constantly in daily political media coverage, and the team is praying that cynicism will not prevail. May hope overcome cynicism, pessimism and defeatism, and may that same hope energize individuals and organizations to believe that protection of people in poverty is indeed possible and worth fighting for.
South Asia
Pray for ongoing flood recovery in one of the states where we work, which has been hit by devastating rains in the last few months. Thousands of people have been displaced from their homes due to flooding, including many survivors of bonded labor supported by IJM. We have seen the survivor community really step up to support one another—which is incredible—but appreciate your ongoing prayers for dry weather, safe housing and other emergency support for these communities as they recover.
Southeast Asia
Praise God for the successful rescue of a Burmese domestic worker! A Burmese woman has recently been rescued from forced labor by Thailand's Department of Special Investigation with assistance from IJM and another partner. When rescued, the team found her exhausted, frightened and asking for help to get out. Praise God she is now safe and receiving support! Please pray for her continued healing and for the investigators as they seek justice for her and for other victims of trafficking and forced labor.
