In a piece picked up by RealClearPolitics, author Ruy Teixeira makes the argument that the Democrats are alienating Hispanic voters -- and he's got the numbers to back it up.

Hispanic and Latino immigrants come to America not because of the socialist promises made by the Democrats. They are attracted to America precisely because they've lived through the same socialist promises made elsewhere, and have witnessed the disastrous effects that accompany them.
