Wow, what an incredible event yesterday!

Grandmas from all over the country came to DC to urge the Senate to pass Build Back Better. And for those of us who couldn’t make it for the rally, we were able to be part of it by watching and sharing our stories online.

This kind of rally is exactly why I’m so proud to support Caring Across Generations. They put together a powerful event, and got members of Congress to commit to supporting grandmas like me. It was beautiful to watch.

It’s hard to pick my favorite moment from yesterday. It might have been seeing so many members of Congress talk about the importance of supporting caregiving and the Child Tax Credit. Or maybe it was hearing grandmas like me explain how the bill would help their families.

Or it might have been when Senator Bob Casey told the crowd, “The only reason the US Senate is about to pass Build Back Better is because of your work and because of grandmothers.”

Either way, the whole event showed the power of the movement Caring Across Generations has built over the last decade. Will you join me in supporting them — and ensuring that this movement to change the way we care continues to grow — with a contribution today?
