Governor Doug Ducey visited Yuma this week after a dramatic surge in migrants flooded into the United States. As he received a briefing on the ground, the Governor witnessed migrants walking across the border ([link removed]) into the U.S., providing firsthand evidence of President Biden's inability to resolve the border crisis.
The president's inaction has forced leaders like Governor Ducey to step up to protect our communities. The Governor announced a surge and repositioning of Arizona’s public safety resources in Yuma to address the Biden Border Crisis.
Meanwhile, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas continues to ignore the crisis at hand. On Fox News today, Governor Ducey called on Secretary Mayorkas to step down. "I have worked now with three presidents — Obama, Trump and Biden," said Governor Ducey. "The Biden administration is far and away the worst. Secretary Mayorkas needs to resign."

Governor Ducey Appoints Quintin Cushner and David Garbarino to the Maricopa County Superior Court ([link removed])
Quintin Cushner has been a partner at Dentons since March 2019. In his practice he litigated civil, administrative and criminal cases before tribunals and Courts throughout Arizona and the nation.
David Garbarino has served as a Maricopa County Superior Court Commissioner since 2016. As a Commissioner, he gained a wealth of experience managing high-volume civil and criminal calendars.
