| Fellow American- Free pizza has gone from being a Student Body President's campaign promise to a lure used by the Los Angeles Unified School District to get students vaccinated without their parents' permission.  The mother of a 13-year-old student at Barack Obama Global Prep Academy says that her son came home from school with a brand-new vaccine card. The minor child said he agreed to get the vaccine when a school employee offered him free pizza if he let her vaccinate him. The school employee then told the student not to tell his mom, or they would both get in trouble. In California, a 13-year-old cannot consent to a medical procedure; the parent must authorize the treatment. In this case, not only did the parent not consent, she was adamant that her son not get the vaccine because of his asthma and his allergy issues. School employees are preying on students' vulnerabilities and silencing them with snacks. They have entirely undermined the rights of parents. This has become more than just a mandate; this is the government forcing its way into your life. As I travel around the state of California, I see so many Californians fighting to restore their parental rights. It is becoming evident that 2022 will be the year of the Parent Party. Parents are fed up with politicians putting special interests ahead of their children. They are done with politicians playing politics with their children's education. They are over their children being pawns in the Left's political agenda. 2022 will be the year that Parents step up and hold their elected officials accountable for ensuring that their children receive a proper education and are protected from the political whims of the Left. I believe that parents are the only people that should make health and education decisions for their children, and I will take that belief to Washington D.C. with me.
