I was so honored to receive the endorsement of EMILY’s List, the top organization in the country dedicated to electing pro-choice Democratic women up and down the ballot.

Many folks don’t know that EMILY’s List is an acronym: EMILY stands for Early Money Is Like Yeast — because it makes the dough rise. Early financial support in a political campaign leads to more contributions further down the line, which will lead to a successful campaign.

I couldn’t agree with this idea more: that’s why even though the election feels far away, my team and I are hard at work collecting contributions. It’s also why I’m asking you today to chip in $5, $10, or even more to ensure we have the resources to build a strong foundation for our campaign.
