November 3, 2020 is one year from today.

The actions we take today -- the doors we knock, the voters we register, and the dollars we raise -- a full year out, will make all the difference in the outcome we wake up with one year and one day from today.

For a moment, set the primary aside. Set the impeachment inquiry aside. 

Just for a moment, think about election day 2020. Remember that Donald Trump won the election in 2016 because of 77,000 votes in 3 counties, in a nailbiter delivered via the Electoral College.

But without Texas -- where he is historically unpopular -- Donald Trump can not win. If there's a single state that can determine whether or not we defeat Donald Trump, it's Texas. 

And our campaign is at the forefront of ensuring that we *massively* increase turnout in the precincts it will take to deliver Texas' 38 Electoral Votes to the Democratic nominee through a groundbreaking, proven, targeted voter registration push.

In 2018, you stepped up. You knocked doors, made calls, contributed what you could afford. And in the process, you pushed this district -- and all of its 13 counties -- to within single digit striking distance. 

Now we're asking for you to dig deep, and to get into this fight with us -- and to ensure that we can register and turn out more voters than any campaign in history, so we can remove Donald Trump and Roger Williams from office, and achieve real wins for Texas and for this country.

One year and one day from now, we're going to wake up and have a new president -- and a new, aspirational, progressive Congresswoman -- because of you, and your commitment to organizing, neighbor to neighbor, block by block, precinct by precinct.

One year and one day from now, we will have flipped the Texas House and created a new Democratic majority that can restore our state's focus on healthcare, public education, and combatting catastrophic climate change.

And one year and one day from now, we will wake up to find that we registered and turned out more voters than any Congressional campaign in Texas history and flipped District 25, and finally held Roger Williams accountable for enabling the most corrupt president in history.

When we wake up one year and one day from today. we're going to be able to say that we did everything we could and more -- and because of that level of commitment, we're going to win.
