I’m the only candidate from any party in this race who grew up in our district and who has lived the majority of my life in this community. That gives me a unique perspective when it comes to understanding our community. My ties to Upstate New York go back generations. My parents own and operate the same grocery store my great-grandmother opened after immigrating to this country. After helping out at the family business and spending much of my life here, I know our community lifts each other up when we need help – that character represents so much of why I’m running for Congress.
