Until every veteran has an ID...

Dear Friends,

Our fight for #FreeIDsForVets is for all veterans but today, we want to tell you about Lowell. 



Lowell is a disabled veteran who hadn't had an ID in *13 years* before he was referred to our colleagues at Spread The Vote by his case manager. Without an ID, Lowell shared that he was unable to replace his Social Security and Medicare cards, and couldn't get a free veteran transit pass.

What else was Lowell unable to do for all those years? How many other veterans cannot fully participate in society because of exorbitant ID fees?
